We’re starting a new short-series here on GLN the Webcomic. I thought it would be fun spending some time putting my daughter’s vision of us as Star Wars characters into practice. Hope you enjoy the trip!

You had me almost rolling on the floor laughing.
I don’t know why, but Jenna’s little shoe sticking out from under her dress in the second panel is freakin adorable.
Definitely cute. Imagine if Luke had done that in the movie.

I am loving your star wars comics series! We just watched star wars with our kids (girl age 4 and boy age 2) and they sat through the whole thing-and loved it!

Thanks! My daughter is loving it to. She’s a little confused about the concept of drawing though. She thinks if I draw it it’s as real as the movie. The idea of drawing something that actually looks like something must be to abstract for the 4 year old mind to process. Fascinating actually.
He might have except Daddy had just cut off his hand.
It’s a detail I felt was important. I wanted her leaning in… pushing. The way my baby does it.
